Information Model Management and OT Data Mapping

A central data repository including OT data and semantic information is a critical building block for Industrial IoT solutions, and base for the successful deployment of both AI- and non-AI driven IoT applications.

Using three real world project examples, this presentation explains how customers implement such data repositories using OPC UA information models. The presentation continues to put these project examples into the context of IoT reference architectures.

Furthermore, the presentation outlines how the possibly trickiest aspect of such solutions – the mapping of unstructured OT data into information models with semantic information – can be handled as efficiently as possible.

The presentation finishes with a short overview of the capabilities of commercially available products today and topics for future R&D.
